Set to static ip and save also use dyndns updater.
-
my router dos the dyndns update i dont have it on my laptop
-
Change it that may be your problem.
-
guys av done a total reset my router to see if that helps
-
Check your ip to see if that has changed
-
twice a day is normal if you with some isp's . The change happens usually when traffic shaping times come in to play . One change will take you into the traffic shape ip range then another change will put you back onto the non shaped netwrok

how do i stop that because its cuting everyone off
-
you generally don't mate . it sounds like you definately being traffic shaped . Which isp and which package are you on ??? Also make sure you have dyndns updater running and that way your hostname will map to your ip and keep track when ip changes

sometimes it is changein twice a day
-
yes you said that which isp are you using and which package are you on

ring your provider and get a static ip.. for few extra quid
-
although as pred said this would sort your problem . I would advise against static as once someone sees open ports on your ip you can get flooded . Atleast with dynamic ip it is refreshed as you wish . My provider holds same ip sometimes for + 1 week and i'm on dynamic.

how do i get round it then talktalk dos not do a static ip anyway
-
Flyman having a static ip will make no difference here, this will not cure being online to some peers but not others. IMO the best thing you can do is change your ports & dns then send everyone fresh clines & ask for the same back.
