hi m8s i initilised it ok but when i press record nothing happens i see a list of record options like record for 120 mins i entered but nothing happens after that
ps using blackhole 1.6
seagate 500 gb external hdd help

have you added the recording path?
menu --> setup --> system --> recording paths --> default movie location to <your external drive>

Ah...you need to be in 'expert mode'
menu --> setup --> system --> customise --> setup mode to expert

ok m8 im there changed it to expert now what i cannot see default movie location to ex hdd

Make sure you have mapped the path for the hard drive. Blue button twice > Devices Manager > Red/Mountpoints > /media/usb

ok im in devices i see my seagate it says not mapped below isee red / mountpoints yellow format

Like Master G says --> hit Red for Mountpoints then map your USB HDD to /media/usb
Setup your recording path and you should be good to go!

hi m8s all working fine just a couple of question s do you do this precedure every time you load a new image also this this blackhole message new themes have been found every time i go to a different satellite can i stop this or do i need it running

When you flash a new image you will need to re-map the path in devices manager and change the recording path because internal harddrive is the default location. Those themes updating are the epg, no need to let it update just change the channel and it will stop.
