no i'm still struggling to get it of this v format
-
hooley what if i try going back to the factory default settings
-
can you get into menu at all? If you can go Menu > Systen Setup > TV System -. Then try changing the resolution there
-
hooley anything other than the 560 i cannot get rid of the message regarding the v format
if i did a factory reset would i still be able to format my usb to the box because as it is i can do nothing with the thing
-
Ah no, don't do a factory reset, you will lose everything then. Is it a hd tv or sd tv you have?
-
Its hd tele connected with a hd lead
-
plug out the hd lead from the tv and then plug it back in again, then try pressing the v format button
-
Tried what you said hooley still the same are we running out of options
-
Have you a scart lead plugged in as well? If you do plug it out, just keep pressing the v format button and it should come around to your resolution eventually , also go into menu ,tv system, and make sure video out is not on rgb and video resolution is auto
-

Video Resolution 1080_50
Aspect Mode Auto
Video Out Yuv
Digital Audio Out Lpcm OutThe box seems to be working fine, went into Media still all the options are grey and it wont let me use any of them

Get the USB stick and bring it to a pc and follow the instructions I gave earlier to change it to fat32
-
Formatted the usb with my computer to fat32 plugged into the box and nothing tried two more usb's did the same way and the box will not reconnize them could it be the usb port on the box is faulty
-
It does sound like that alright. Your not the first with this problem. Maybe just leave it as is
-
If it is the box being faulty is it worth sending back as it is still under warrenty, down the line if i do need to flash the box i am going to be struggling with a dodgey usb port.
-
This is true, contact your supplier and tell them you have tried a few different USB sticks and it's not working.
-
Not always does the usb need to be formatted to FAT32 have you tried NTFS?
-
I got an s9 like that once turned out the usb connection inside the box had come loose so open it up and tightened it it up and worked fine since then.
-
cheers dathai60
will check with the supplier that it is ok to open the box without any penalty on my warrenty and take it from there.
Big thanks to everyone for there help and very big thanks to hooley for sticking with me.
Cheers everyone

Try what Dave was saying first. Instead of fat32 try changing to Ntfs your stick
