Torrent client Transmission problem

    Hello i am trying to update from versión 2,76 to versión 2,82 and it says than transmisión is up to date,but i stll have the old version 2,76.
    What i mis?any ideas?.

    try this in telnet:

    then ftp the new version to /tmp then telnet :

    i did what you said and nothing happen,is dificult to understand whats the problem....it says up of date but i still have 2,76 version...any other ideas?have somebody another version to try?thanks for you help and for your time.

    I now realise you are using bh 179 which is ancient ,,so you would not use the

    Quote

    mips32el.ipk

    as you use oe1.6...
    instead you would need

    Quote

    mipsel.ipk


    in other words you either stick with what you have or update to the latest or at least oe2.xxx images
    this could be the answer to the problem
