  • i am running a debian linux pc server with phoenix smart mouse with oscam r9546

    now in logs etc my server looks as if it is running fine "phoenix (84ms)" but was freezing... my sat signal is fine from dish tested on an amiko alien 2+ and openbox f3 the freeze happens from my local and shares to my receiver and my peers tell me happening to them also. it was freezing every minute or so

    so i thought i would try cachex
    i followed ten below guide
    http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=16348

    which has improved freezing to maybe 1 every 5 minutes

    is there anyway to stop it? i read somewhere but didnt really understand that may have to do with wait times???

    oscam.config

    [global]
    serverip = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
    logfile = /var/oscam.log
    clientmaxidle = 0
    nice = -15
    maxlogsize = 100000
    block_same_ip = 0
    block_same_name = 0

    [cache]
    max_hit_time = 1

    [newcamd]
    port = xxxx@0963:000000
    serverip = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
    key = xxx
    keepalive = 1

    [cccam]
    port = xxxx
    nodeid = xxx
    version = 2.3.0
    reshare = 7
    reshare_mode = 0
    ignorereshare = 1
    stealth = 1
    updateinterval = 30
    minimizecards = 1

    [webif]
    httpport = xxxx
    httpuser = root
    httppwd = xxxxx

    oscam.server

    [reader]
    label = phoenix
    protocol = mouse
    device = /dev/ttyUSB0
    caid = 0963
    detect = cd
    mhz = 600
    ident = 0963:000000
    group = 1
    emmcache = 1,3,2
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    blockemm-s = 1
    blockemm-g = 1
    auprovid = 000963

    as i say the logs are standard and do not show any errors when this happens but can be given if requested

    thanks in advance

  • are you sure that the users unable to connect for an hour and a half was down to no-ip? I had that issue ages ago and had to write in a cronjob to stop cccam and let oscam start as cccam was starting first and blocking oscam connections. Wierd I know
