Need Help to get oscam running smooth

    Hi All


    I need some help with my oscam server, evrything is running but needs a few adjustments which I'm not sure about..


    I'm constantly getting the messages below.

    I have the services file installed and srvid but havent got the provid file istalled is this needed?

    I don't like complex configurations, you must use only essential parameters
    services = !***uk_3d,!***uk_setanta --> means disable

    ferdi there is nothing wrong with complex configurations of an oscam server if you actually know what you are doing, however you seem to be making life rather difficult for yourself chris2005


    Get rid/disable anticascading as you dont need that with 0963 cards..


    Also using a services file is fine but it depends what you want to use it for/// and that is to either block services not in your package or to allow services in your package// so it depends on what package you have subscribed to on whether a services file is required or how you want to use one..i use an ecm header whitelist on my 0963 card but its a small package so its easy to maintain.


    Either of these lists if used should be made personally by yourself and adapted for your package as its pointless using one plastered on a blog site/forum...you would be as well to leave it out altogether if you are unsure of how services files/ecm lists work !

    I have never had to use it although my server is private so i dont have multiple clients attached that i dont know or trust...unless people are running payservers then why the need..as you know its easy to monitor if a client is taking the piss and then that idiot should have their account disabled/ip banned as your better off without them anyway.

    That makes perfect sense and has made things much clearer.


    The more I read on the net the more I was getting bogged down and over complicating things as usual : )
