Hi,
I am just trying to set up a small share with a few friend and have recently moved to a new internet provider.
i have a fixed ip address but the IP seems to be dragging their feet opening specific ports for me.
Is there anyway round this? similar to no-ip when u cant have a fixed ip address.
thanks in advance

You should be able to open any port in your own router, look up your router make & model here.

yes, I know how to open the ports in my router. but ports are blocked by the ISP

All ports ports are blocked ?

I am sure they are not all blocked, i have found that 80 and 22 are open. but the ones around 12000 to 14000 that i used to use with my old ISP are blocked.
how can i found out which ones are open without individually trying them -
msdos : netstat - an
msdos : netstat -ano
it will show you listening ports , tcp + udp..
but another thing is to know how to interpret the info...
so if you dont control IT much then go the easy route : Open Port Check Tool - Test Port Forwarding on Your Router -

Telitec connections is a wifi system used on the costa blanca.
however my issue is not with telitec. they open the ports i requested.
but i am moving to another ISP (wifi) also which is considerably cheaper and 5 times the download speed. the compay is called aeromax.es
