change bootlogo vix image

    bootlogo and bootlogo_wait.mvi go in usr/share - radio.mvi goes in /usr/share/enigma2/skin_default (in Vix for example)


    Reboot and logos should now show

    mrgmx which ones r the bootlogo ones im in skin default and theres buttons icons infobar piconbg screeens would it be in the screen folder cheers

    opps sorry mrgmx when i go into user share i see them change them man utd logo comes on for few seconds then zues vix image any other ideas thanks

    the bootlogo and bootlogo_wait will change the ones for the boot sequence


    radio will change the backdrop when you with over to radio channels


    If you change the backdrop.mvi also that should change the main Vix backdrop your seeing.
    (just rename/copy the bootlogo.mvi to backdrop.mvi and ftp across)

    Alternative is to just edit the splash.bmp (keeping original size) from the downloaded vix image folders, delete the other files and only leave the splash.bmp in there...then just insert usb and update with it as normal. image on box stays the same only the first openvix logo is replaced.


    Dont know about other boxs but works on technomate systems
