IKS - Internet key sharing, i.e Cardsharing.
At a guess the original poster has a line on his Ariva and wants to put it on his Vu+ or something along those lines?
Is it a line from a Payserver by any chance?

You cannot use IKS on any other stb as it each soft patch is stb specific...
For example you cannot use the ariva patch on the engel nor vice versa...
As for payserver , ¿ How much do you pay for this software??
The reason I ask is because this soft patch can be found all over the net freely..
IKS does not work on enigma stbs.... the nearest would be twin protocol..... -
I don't pay for this, i have it on a iris 9600HD 02 and i want to know how instal it on my VU+ Duo.

NO ..it is impossible to try install this onto any other stb with a different chip/architecture...
You will destroy the DUO and will not be able to recover the duo if you try it..
the DUO can be used with a valid subscription card and/or a share from another server..
read about cardsharing to benefit from your duo.. -

NO ,I´m afraid I don´t ....
The idea of cardsharing is that both peers each have a card that the other wants to use..
If you don´t have a card to start with then I imagine very few users would be willing to give out a line with nothing in return...
There is also the question of (il)legality of cardsharing in some countries... -
