shd 8900 stuck in boot on e2

Have you made a backup? Then you can boot into spark and reload your backup using E2 upgrade plugin, if not then you will have load another E2 image using either E2 upgrade plugin method in spark (which I prefer no troubles with usb stick) or the buttons on the box method.

When you backup you should have 2 files e2jffs2.img and uImage, if you don't need to load fresh image.

there should be 2 files in your backup_of_e2 folder: uImage and e2jffs.img
from the sounds of it you have uImage missing - you could try replacing it with one from another image, but can't guarantee what results you'd get.
Best bet would be to install another image.
