How-To Update Software On Ferguson FBOX Android TV Stick

1) Download ZIP file and copy the software to a USB memory stick..
2) Connect the USB memory stick to FBOX`a and scroll to Settings > About Ferguson > Updates > Local update..
3) Select the connected memory upgrade file FBOX-SN5B1A-20140626.zip
4) Wait for a full re-run FBOX'a. Note that this operation can take up to 10 minutes.

Note: After downloading the updates, we recommend you clean the machine by restoring the factory settings. To do this, go to: Settings > More > Backup & reset > Factory Settings and select Reset > Erase everything. Note that this operation can take up to 10 minutes.

And after the first run: We recommend to enable XBMC application to initialize all the libraries and the initial configuration of the media center.

Fantastic. Sorted my problems with XBMC pvr. I would mention, do not unzip the files when transferring to the usb stick.

When i try to install i get : Invalid package error! error occur when attempting to extract IMG file ?

Can some one explain

YOu do NOT EXTRACT the package file.. you simply update the zip itself from within the fbox2 settings.
it can take a few mins so do NOT touch or move anything during....
