Newbie gift question

The "gift" is a line installed inside the box that connects to a pay server.....

Forgive me for asking, but I am also a noob. I didnt know about pay servers, I joined this forum to learn. What is the alternative? i have googled and with so many varying opinions I just end up going round in circles.

Alternative to a p/s ????
Possiblities: Get a subscription card that you can share through a box which has the capabilties of sharing (not openbox)
and then find a trustful friend who has a diff one to yours and so share with each other discretely...
At least this is the theory ...
All the educational information about this theory is on site..use the searchbar top right ..

Sharing cards makes for good value as long as you have a trust worthy friend with something worth sharing !
