hi,having problems trying to connect with wifi in parts of my home,is there a way that i can fix this without running any cables,thanks

I use an extender with lan ports ..
it picks up the wifi signal from the router and "extends" the signal to a ps3,androidbox,,
I also have a vu+ UNO and a notsmart LG tv with dlna plugged into lan ports, all working as expected..

it is when i am using my iphone or ipad around the house,looking at the Netgear WN3000RP Universal Wi-Fi Range Extender from argos just under £40,would this be good one to buy

This will certainly do the job for you, I have used this myself in the past and never gave any bother.... easy enough to setup too.
