you can mount original images, I suggest Merlin3 OE2.0 or dreambox-image-dm800se-20140802.nfi

yes any Original image m8
flash the image you choose, when done DO NOT REBOOT
remove the PSU then open up receiver & swap the sim over to A8P..
close up receiver & re-apply the PSU & boot-up = done :78:
Don't forget to flash the genuine bootloader

if i might be allowed to answer on inspiral's behalf.
i think what is saying is once the image has been flashed has been remove the PSU = Power Supply Unit bascily pull the power, open up box swap sims to A8P refit the cover, reconnect power supply and reboot.

I was going to say the same thing. I have both an A8P sim and a 2.10 Sim. I regularly swap between the two dependant on what new images take my fancy.
I just flash the new image, power the box down and then install which ever sim matches the installed image. Can't say i have ever had to bother changing the bootloader after installing the image.
