    Hello, i am really very new at this. i recently got a vu+ solo2 running Vix image and Oscam 2.3.0. i have a local paid I***** card and all i want to achieve is to use the card on my new decoder(the vu). i am able to view the FTA channels but no premium channel shows. i have been at this for some time now so please let me know if i am doing something wrong.

    It would help if you told us the provider, each one is different. I'm guessing its Dish TV judging by the content of your previous post, As far as i know with Dish Irdet0 cards you also need the boxkey and the RSAKey. If you don't know them i would forget about it.


    Please do not ask if anyone here knows how to obtain the keys for you as we get at least one of these questions every week and upto now the threads have not ever been answered so you will be clutching at straws anyway.


    Please also refrain from posting the same question in several parts of the forum as the duplicate posts will just be deleted.

    thanks Nano. the provider is S.African DS*v and i do have my box key (serial number converted to hex). for RSA, i have seen a dump but still trying to figure out how to get teh rsa key.

    You are barking up the wrong tree converting serial numbers...nobody ever converted a serial number into a boxkey ! that was most likely a misinterpretation most people got used to in the uk with a Nagra1 hack which actually turned out to be a stolen database for certain pace models...also with *** uk the serial number only ever revealed the boxid or receiver id as we know it....not the actual boxkey...which nds dont use anyway lolz.


    I was in south africa in 2006...they was using i_deto2 at that time.


    As nano says you are best to leave it alone as you are not going to solve your puzzle by randomly posting on websites...lots of knowledge required for what you are after..

    dont bother with boxkey,your RSA and Boxkey are wrong if you using V6 or ,possibly,even newer card.
    Are sure tweak keys will also be needed and if card paired to prov box already you have no chance getting it to work in oscam.
    Even if you get channels to clear there is surflock to sort,only 1 sid allowed or card locks after a while.
    I am out of 36E footprint so cannot help any further,as meerkat and others have said above,It is not an easy task.

    "..lots of knowledge required for what you are after." this exactly is my quest and i am happy to go on this quest. but i will need maps to guide me in the right direction.

    As this is mostly a European forum, I am not sure that this would be the best place to get help


    I think you may need to look at the forums a bit closer to home for the most help.
