Hi All,

sky news (4195H) on 68.5E stopped working a while back on oscam emu.

Not sure if the EMM key i used was killed.

Seems no new public keys can be found.

Can anyone confirm if this channel can still be opened ?

It seems my box is knackered.

Checked all voltage regs on the board are OK,including 5v on USB port.

Flashed with 2 different flash drives,low level formatted and tried various older images.

Result is always that segmentation error.

The NAND flash is a BGA chip so I cannot replace it nor will ever find one.

I am using an 8 gb adata USB stick that I used many times before to flash these receivers,no activity LED though.

Will try another USB flash drive and the front USB also will check for 5v on the USB port.

Only power supply and USB connected.

I understood only the rear USB port could be used for reflashing.

I tried openatv 6.4 and openpli 4 backup that was running on this receiver before it fell over.

Will give openatv 6.1 a try.

Is there a tut somewhere how to SSH into this box using serial ?

I used putty and get the log showing but cannot send any commands from putty,nothing shows in the console window when I type a command.

The electric went out and on power being restored display permanently showing boot.

Tried another power supply from a working box.

Reflashing using the rear USB port seems to complete normally but display still showing boot.

Jtagged the old bootloader successfully,as far as I can tell,with same result.

Attached is CFE log,please jenseneverest take a look and advise what to try next.

I see some bad sectors reported in the log as well as segmentation faults.

Also unsuccessfully tried reflashing over SSH,could be doing this wrong though.

Any ideas ?

Have tried oscam 11399 rev 766 and 767 with same results.

Installed openvix image,still same results,has no one else had this issue ?

Stream relay was working fine until a week or so ago.

Log says found and stream client connected but no pictures.

Stream relay not working on my Zgemma 2S on openpli 4 since last week using svn11399_r766.

Have rescanned NSS12 and have "found" in logs even when starting stream relay,cannot open stream in VLC either.

Does anyone have a solution ?

you need to setup stream relay with dreambox edit for Zgemma for powervu channels.

S2 has plenty CPU power to do this,HD channels play without any stuttering

click stream in webif for the channel you want to stream to PC and open in VLC

before playing in VLC ,change port number to 17999

the port number is 8001 in this example after box IP address eg 10.0.0.2:8001

works fine here like this

Are using oscam emu R11391 to decode powervu on a zgemma 2S with latest openpli4 image.

timeshift working but whenever a recording is started I end up with an empty (0b) file,recordings are fine on FTA channels.

This issue has arisen now only after changing my oscam emu version after provider changed algo.

Anyone have a solution for this ? :/

Can someone please tell me where to find a working version of oscam ymod,or any oscam build supporting constcw (BISS) for my zgemma 2s (sh1) running openpli4 image ?
Have tried various ymod builds for openPLI images and they either do not install from the ipk or readers do not show in web interface on my box ??
What is also strange is the log does not show any activity after switching to the channel .. as if a FTA channel is being viewed.

Found a version of joeuser's oscamEMU that is working on the Zgemma but BISS channel still not clearing.
Have confirmed the channel is not flagged as encrypted even though it is BISS encrypted.
How can oscam be forced to decrypt it ?

Sorry to hijack this thread but could joeuser or cooldale perhaps advise what I am doing wrong ....

Have tried powervu home edition on a 64 bit and 32 bit machine and get the same error in log windows after importing the log file - [2016/08/27 15:54:36.878] System.NotSupportedException: The binary key cannot have an odd

number of digits

Are using joeuser's patched oscam to log EMM's(Only unique EMM being logged)and renaming the .log file to .txt before importing to powervu home edition.

Have logged for an hour and 12 hours with the same error.

Please tell me how to sort this.

All my boxes are powered via an UPS,switch mode power supplies used in these receivers are quite forgiving and do not need a pure sine wave input to operate properly

you need to define it in oscam.conf file like this ...

Hi Joeuser,
Your patched oscam been working 100 % till MTN powervu (C Band) started rolling keys every 10 minutes or so.
Oscam freezes every half hour and a reboot or telnet into box is required to restart it.
Pictures immediately return,can this be an unknown EMM causing oscam to lock up ?
Have blocked all EMM in config except unique needed for autoroll.
Please advise if you have a fix or any idea what to try to resolve this.
