Oscam need of CCcam config for Viasat 093E ?

  • Hi,

    Have tried a bit getting my smartreader to work with my 800se, but have a few questions. First of all, do I need to use/change anything in the cccam config when I use Oscam?

    I know I have to change some in the oscam.config, server, and user right? Just have to figure out what.

    I have configured the smargo smart reader and the dreambox recognises it in device manager.

    Im using Newnigma latest image.

    Please advise

    Sincerely Pierre

    Delete or # out anything related to cardreader in CCcam.cfg, add an N line or L line to CCcam.cfg depending on what protocol you use in oscam.

    Tell us what card you are trying to configure and we will find and modify the configs for smargo cardreader.

    Is oscam+CCcam2.1.3 installed as a combo or separate cams ?

  • Great, I have the Viasat 093e card.

    Right now I´m trying with the CCcam 2.1.4-Oscam combo.
    At the moment I´m the only user, do I have to use N or L line in the configs now?
    In the future I´ve plans of sharing my card (with my bedroom box:))

    If you want to continue using CCcam to control your server you will need to use CCcam2.1.3 and versions below to show the card as HOP0, all other vesions show HOP10.

    Oscam is the cardreader and CCcam controls the server, so the N line or L line will connect the two cams.

    You will be able to create C and F lines as normal within CCcam for your peers.

  • Ok, I´ve read that CCcam isn´t that optimal to use so I rather use another one. Do you know the best cam combo to use for my card?

    Further, could you give me an example how the two lines should look in the conf to connect to eachother.

    Oscam.conf

    Oscam.server

    oscam.user

    Code
    [account]
    user                          = user
    pwd                           = pass
    group                         = 1
    au                            = viasat
    caid                          = 093E
    ident                         = 093E:000000

    Here is the N line put it in CCcam.cfg.

    N: 127.0.0.1 44445 user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 256

    You don`t need to open a port for oscam if you are sharing internally and using as cardreader.

  • Ok, I will try it these confs within an hour when I get home and let you know how it turns out.

    Don´t I need to input the boxid in the server file when using 093e card?

    • Official Post

    Oscam will read the boxkey on its own, but if you have the line BoxID= in oscam.server you will need to add your boxkey.

    Thats why i have removed BoxID so it will read automatically.

    When you are testing later view oscam webinfo or log files to see if there are any errors, will help us help you better.

    If you dont know how to do this buddy just let us know.

  • Hey again,

    Posting my oscam.log file cause theres no picture yet

    #ALLOW TELNETINFO: no
    ALLOW WEBINFO: yes

    # Show extended client info when showing client list
    # default is yes

    #SHOW EXTENEDED CLIENT INFO : no

    And installed CS studio,

    But this is what I get:
