Looking for a tutorial on how to enter a c/n line and upgrade channel list.

    I have received a dreambox 800hd se off a friend as a gift, he has upgraded to a newer box. I have only experience with openbox/***boxes so this box is obvioulsy new to me. I'm just looking for a tutorial on how to enter a cline and upgrade the channel list on it as he has not used it in a while.


    Could someone point me to a thread or two on the forum that would be helpful to me. I have downloaded filezilla as I know this is used for FTP using my router. I would appreciate a few pointers and some help so I do not mess this up, thank you.

    use filezilla to edit cccam.cfg file where you enter your C: Line.
    Find Dreambox edit channel list editor to update channel lists !


    Then when your happy your box works look at another image /skin /plugin ect ect
