C lines

    Can I ask about C lines?



    I succesfully input 2 different lines but the line has stopped appearing in the bottom left hand corner of screen when you select a channel I'm getting an x under the black hole vu box and it display the screen resolution then an x under that. Any help in what i can do to resolve. Just to add I have an 8 legged box in the other room with permission to run multi boxes off the c line and thats working fine.

    I don´t get an X on the BH logo nor under it nor under resolution..
    you won´t see any cline but fta on a free to air channel.
    Might have been a corruption in hte flashing of the image but i wouldn´t see it as a problem

    sorry I misunderstood your first post.
    Then copy and paste it again, htere must be somethign amiss , like a spacing or something similar in the line..
    or if the line is off from the server then it wont show either.

    Can you show us a screenshot of what you mean please.


    You can do this in telnet with this command and look in /tmp folder for shot1.jpg file, then attach to this thread:

    grab -d -j 100 /tmp/shot1.jpg


    Or login to the openwebif interface in a browser with the ip address of the solo se > Click Grab Screenshot


    Or use the attached plugin.

    when you double ok on the channel some info at bottom of channel comes up before it was coming up with an x now though its just blank hard to do a screen grab info bar is only up for 5 seconds

    When it was clearing channels the 1st part of my c line was underneath the screen resolution

    Just tried what you said further up went into FTP deleted line saved it went back in input line again then saved it and now channels are clearing.

    I've set it to expert now, what things can I do with it now.

    Does most of this stuff have to be done from a pc in a ftp client or can it be done via the solo se itself, I'm a very new noob

    Ive dropped that libgcc file into it and rebooted all ok now. Just trying to get my head round these boquets now
