Need help setting up 7 day EPG on Blade Media 7000

    hi does anyone know how to actually store the 7 day epg onto the hard drive. when i put my box in standby and switch back on it just doesent save anything on hard drive.

    Not tested by me but worth a try

    7 day epg menu tip


    For people that dont know


    if you go to menu ,then time setting


    make sure you pick daily in menu list


    then set your wake up time just before you get up or want to use use box


    then pick channel a box will come up go to all satllite and find the 7 day epg download hit ok and it will store that channel


    then set your box off time to what ever suits you hit exit save yes and when you go to use your box the 7 day epg will be there for you all updated

    theres supposed to be a way of saving the epg on the hard drive i have tries this and got it to work a couple of times.


    but it doesent work always.


    what i do is


    1. go to 7 day epg channel (bottom of listing)
    2. stay on channel for about 40 secs.
    3. now 7 day epg is loaded in to blade ram.
    4. press off button on box so it goes on standby.
    5 leave it alone for another 40 secs.
    6. switch blade back on and wait 20 -30 secs
    7. if the blade feels like it then it would have reloaded the epg. but it doesent work most of the time for some reason.


    im still trying to figure out.
