Assigning a Static IP vs Router Assigning IP?

Hi, I'm configuring my recently purchased Dreambox for the first time. When setting the Ip address on the dreambox, should I set a static IP or should my router's DHCP server assign an ip to it? I'm thinking that if the router assigns an IP to the Dreambox, there will be the inconvenience of the IP changing from time to time.

Thanks, mate. I will assign a static IP to my dreambox instead of having the router DHCP server assign one to it.
