Help with vu solo 2

Start by watching this tutorial buddy..... Video on How to Flash a Vu Solo2 or any other Vu

if its just updating your wanting to do fozzie just go to menu/setup/software update, make sure to back your settings up before you update
menu/setup/vix/backup
i always back my image up at the same time
menu/setup/vix/image backup
then i connect to my box using filezilla or dcc locate the hdd in my box and copy the backups on to my pc for just incase it all goes pear shaped

The addons is installed on your solo2 for your solo2....
It is an IPK format meaning that you transfer it directly to the solo2 using FTP.
FTP it to var/volatile/tmp and then on r.c press green-yellow to addons manager.
look down the list to MANUALLY INSTALL IPK PACKAGES.
press OK and you should see theIPK listed press OK on theIPK and it will install tehn a reboot is required afterwards.
Once solo2 has started up again look in menu- plugins and you will see linuxsat-support addons plugin there.

If it's not what cazuela has suggested then maybe this is what you mean..... All Attachment Downloads Are .php Files [Fix]

I use DCC e2 post#9 to communicate with the box but Filezilla is also a good option too..
