  • i have a problem with my new 016 card.
    I have two cards, and they looks the same but with there is a small diffrent.
    both card is stating with 016 so i assume both cards is nds3 caid 093E.

    But my problem is that i cant get my new card to work with my oscam/cccam og oscam/mgcam.
    My config is working with the old card but not the new!!
    And yes i have chanced the boxkey!!!

    There is a little diffrence on the cards! on the new card theres written "Country of origin UK"
    but besides that it looks exacly the same.

    does anybody know it is not working???

    My oscam returns this information in logfile

  • if your card works in original Viasat tuner so the card is likely allready paried with this.
    Solution is to acquire a sd box and connect the card to this and add new boxid in oscam and your card will work 100% again.
    This can also happen with the second card that works today.

    Perhaps you should also update your oscam, it is very old.

  • Solution is to acquire a sd box ??? you think i should pair my card to another box, is that what you mean?
    i have 7 viasat boxes :-)

    I have tried oscam 1.20 but that dosent work!
    Its only work in 1.10

    Is there a newer oscam out there??

  • I have almost the same problem, but here came the card not to work after it came in a SD box again. There is a picture on the SD box, but Oscam write channel is not open.

    Viasat [***********] classD3 ins54: status 90 00 = ok but cw=00 -> channel not subscribed

    Searay: Have you added in boxid that is right for sd box?

    indbyggeren: Newer oscam 1.20 works but you may need to change your settings on reader!
    Card MHz and MHz.
    Which box you have, image and how oscam.server configured?

  • I have an DM800HD pvr.
    emigma2 - the gemini project - gemini 3 wizzard.
    Cams installed at the moment: OScam 1.10 - 1.20 / CCcamd 2.1.3 - 2.3.0 / Mgcamd 1.35a - 1.38
    My current working setup is: OScam 1.10/MGcamd 1.38 or OScam/CCcamd 2.1.3! both of them work fine with the "OLD" NDS3 016------------- card.
    Both MHz is 357 - caid 093E

    My current original viasatbox is pace TDS865NV

    So if i understand you correct, i will have to take an SD box and pair my card to that, put in that boxid in OScam.server

    Is that correct??

    My OScam.server looks like this

    [reader]
    label = viasat
    protocol = mouse
    detect = cd
    device = /dev/ttyUSB0
    enable = 1
    group = 1
    emmcache = 1,3,2
    boxid = xxxxxxxx
    caid = 093E
    mhz = 357
    cardmhz = 357

    it is correct:40_002:

    regarding newer builds of oscam so you do not need mhz and cardmhz, oscam have 357 as default.

    Hello again

    So, I've had time to look at it.
    Yes, I'm sure boxkey is correct, it has worked long and I tried another and was told it was not correct.

    I borrowed a map of a partner, it also works in a SD box with no Oscam server.
    Again, I am sure boxkey is correkt. Oscam V9475

  • Hello again

    Now I have moved the card from my Raspberry an old DM500 who have run it before.
    Now there are 86 Entitlements for Viasat but my DM800 clears ever not.
    Bokskey fit the SD box. Card works fine in SD boks and have a picture on, but immediately it comes in DM500 open channels not.
    Unfortunately writes Oscam in the log:

    user1 (093E & 000000 / 01xx / 07xx / AA: xxxxxxx2CB7ACA0F42A7557DDD353F2E): not found (43 ms) by Viasat
    xxxxx158 s Viasat [***********] classD3 ins54: no cw -> Card is paired

    oscam.server
    [reader]
    label = Viasat
    enable = 1
    protocol = internalize
    device = / dev / sci0
    caid = 093E
    boxid = xxxxxxx
    ins7e11 = 15
    Detect = CD
    mhz = 534

  • Have you tried updating your card in sd-tuner?
    Thinking of solution where you call automatic telephone answering.
    Do not think it is correct with 86 Entitlements??for sd!
    I have the full package and 78 Entitlements...

  • this works in 1.20

    [reader]
    label = Nede_Via
    description = via nede
    protocol = internal
    device = /dev/sci1
    caid = 093E
    boxid = XXXXXXXX
    detect = cd
    mhz = 450
    cardmhz = 2700
    ident = 093E:000000
    group = 2
    emmcache = 1,3,2
    lb_weight = 300

    Hello and thank you.

    Yes the card is in SD tuner now, here it works perfectly. It has been sitting in some days.
    I do not know if the number of Entitlements is correct. The number changes actually a little now and then ..

    @ nice
    With a blue card? and many thanks, I'll just try sometime.

    I tried, it does not work. The card will not start.

    I am told the card is paired with the old setup has worked?

    Any idea?

    81 Entitlements for Viasat is correkt

    Edited once, last by Searay ().

  • When you add the card you do not need the mhz and possible not caid, so this should be minimum config:
    oscam.server

    Code
    [reader]
    label                         = Viasat
    protocol                      = internal
    device                        = /dev/sci0
    boxid                         = xxxxxxx
    detect                        = cd
    group                         = 1
    emmcache                      = 1,3,2

    It will auto detect both frequency and caid.
    So after first run you will see the mhz field has data.

  • Well the site is up again, nice :)
    Unfortunately, there is nothing new here, you ever message:

    user1 (093E & 000000 / 01xx / 07xx / AA: xxxxxxx2CB7ACA0F42A7557DDD353F2E): not found (43 ms) by Viasat

    When the card is in the server. There is a fine picture in a SD box?

  • Hi

    I have read on another forum that there is another key required even for SD boxes

    Doesnt look good - just got a new card too

    £250 ice scraper looks a distinct possiblity
