  • Hi i was wondering if anybody could help me with a problem i have with my setup?

i have a debian 6 server built with cccam 2.2.1 and a smargo reader i have entered my sly box key and cccaminfo shows me i have full entitelments off my card and seems to be reading it ok. my openbox shows that i am connected to my home server however everything is still scrambled???

if i put my card in a dreambox 500 i have it decodes fine?

appreciate any assistance with this thanks in advance

  • hi thanks u so much for responding yes exactly like that if i go onto my openbox and view cccam file it tells me that its online and cccamphpinfo tells me that client is connected.

many thanks for your help in advance

  • will try sharing openbox from my dm500 rather than my linux pc later sorry didnt make myself clear i meant if i take the sly card out of the smargo and put it into dm500 it works fine with cccam 2.2.1

  • think its just the openbox ten , i bought openbox and input my line but wouldnt allow me input it.. no problem with other c:lines.. bit strange i thought or silly.. so i didnt bother ask anyone .
