Im looking at buying a Gigablue HD box but dont know what the difference between the se & ue version is. Could anyone enlighten me please. Also has anyone got one of thesee boxes working on VM if so could anyone tell me how so set one up please. Does the vix image alow you to set the symbol rate, Qam settings etc.

The only main difference between the UE and the SE is the display on the front panel.
Can't help you with your cable query as i have no such interest in obtaining cable TV.

I have a UE plus and using Vix also geting VM and it was very easy to set up

If you are using openvix image install CCcam from their addons feed. Insert C line into CCcam.cfg then FTP to /etc folder.
Only use CCcam 2.3.0, all other versions do not work with oe alliance images.

Thanks again. Are those images from a gigablue hd running vix.
ABM should also work fine if you are using an OE-Alliance image such Openvix. Also works fine on OpenPLI. A couple of guys with Gigablues in ex-CW areas had issues with ABM, so may not work.
