  • Hi

    I have just given a n line to my friend to access my local card. however it is showing the following message:

    PHP
    2015/02/22 14:19:38  1404AE0 c client connected to xxxxx port
    2015/02/22 14:19:38  1404AE0 c plain newcamd-client xxxxxxxxx rejected (invalid access)
    2015/02/22 14:19:38  1404AE0 c anonymous disconnected from xxxxxxxx

    My configs are:

    oscam.conf

    oscam.user

    oscam.server

    Edited once, last by master G: removing ip address xxxxxx ().

    What does the N line look like that the peer is trying to connect with ?

    According to the [account] you have setup, the peer should be connecting with either of these N lines.

    Code
    N: hostname 17001 user1 user11 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
    N: hostname 17001 local1 local2 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
  • I gave them:

    PHP
    N: hostname xxxxx user1 user11 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    The port opened on my router is 17001, protocol is BOTH, TCP and UDP. could this be the case?

    Or maybe its this:

    PHP
    allowed                       = 127.0.0.1,192.168.0.0-255.255.255.255

    should i change to:

    PHP
    0.0.0.0-255.255.255.255

    Set the protocol on the port to tcp only. Setup a new [account], give out the new N line.. Let us know how you get on buddy..

    Code
    [account]
    user = linuxsat
    pwd = support
    keepalive = 1
    group = 1

    Code
    N: hostname 17001 linuxsat support 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

    No need to change any parameters in [webif], they are fine as they are. They only allow access to the web interface, not restrict a peer from accessing your server..

  • ok will let you know.

    by the way this

    PHP
    allowed                       = 127.0.0.1,192.168.0.0-255.255.255.255

    is under newcamd protocol in oscam.conf.

    Unfortunately it's still the same after changing to TCP. Should i switch off AU for their account?

  • I will let you know once I hear back from my mate.

    Update: taking off the IP line in newcamd fixed the problem. Thank you.

    How do I setup my config to make my friend use local cache rather than local card?
