wireless link does not work on dm500s

had a perfectly good system in my dining room, moved the wireless link (with box) upstairs and the blue link light stays solid, however, at the same upstairs location, if I put the wirleless link in my lapstop it communicates to the router, any ideas what I can try please

Have done that, no joy, I have put my DM800 upstairs on the wirelss link and that does not communicate, the dm800s shows on network test:

Lan Adapter =ok

Local Network=Connected

DHCP=unconfirmed

My DM800 was wired, will I have to change any settings now that I have put a wireless dongle on it, just a thought

yes,dhpc is on master g
