vu solo2 bh 2.1.5 hardrive wont mount

    hi guys



    when I click menu about my hdd shows detected......when I click the red record button I get no hdd found or hdd not initialised..... when I go to initialise hard drive I get .....unable to initialise hard drive error mkfs failed......when I click the blue button twice and go to device manager I have nothing in there



    if you guys can help that would be great thanks for your time in reading this and helping solve this problem

    You could try to remove it and format it using a pc (i use easeus partition master) to Ext3 (you will loose all data on it though)
    Re-insert it and see if you can initialise / mount it
    How big is the hdd in question?

    its 1gb I only have a laptop and the hardrive is sata is that possible thanks for reply

    Just format it to fat32 and let the image convert it to EXT3 or better still EXT4 for better compatibility.
