Thanks lads for your input, whenever i try to install Mgcamd either through telnet or via a download link in tspanel i get this error:
Installing enigma2-plugin-softcams-mgcamd (1.38) on root.
Collected errors:
* satisfy_dependencies_for: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for enig
a2-plugin-softcams-mgcamd:
* libcrypto-compat *
* opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package enigma2-plugin-softcams-mgcamd.
root@dm800sev2:~#
Any Ideas -
Try the attached dependency first..
-
Tried that master G and this is the error now:
* opkg_install_pkg: Package libcrypto1.0.0 md5sum mismatch. Either the opkg or
the package index are corrupt. Try 'opkg update'.
* opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package libcrypto1.0.0.
Also tried opkg update -
Install extra url from here: http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=75842
and then download from panel plugin/softcam -
Still the same lads with the same message:

You have installed the extra url? -
Yes i have installed the extra url and the opendroid version is OpenDroid-exp-dm800sev2-2015-03-24-20-05.nfi(ver 4.2 opendroid)
In soft cam panel it is now showing what it should but is not clearing, have tried changing box type in mg_cfg to 00 from 06 with no joy- - - Updated - - -
Any thoughts on this guys, its driving us crackers,lol.
-
Enable the log in mg_cfg, restart mgcamd then look in /tmp folder for the mgcamd.log. If there is no log, mgcamd is not running.. (change 192.168.1.80 to the ip address of the dm800se v2..
Code# Log option, summ of: # 00 off # 01 network udp log # 02 log to console # 04 file, appended ! delete it by yourself, before it eat all your hdd # + IP udp-port log-file-name L: { 02 } 192.168.1.80 28007 /tmp/mgcamd.log
Try starting mgcamd in telnet:
-
Your right masterG mgcamd is not running (i followed instructions above) although Mgcamd is showing up in the Tspanel softcam selection, in the info panel on the opendroid softcampanel, the option to install mgcamd is not available and the only cam choice there is Oscamymod18-T55.
-
Do you want to try oscam ymod ? I can give you the configs if needed..
-
if its not showing up in the softcam selection
then the cam script is not installedlook in
/etc/init.d
forsoftcam.mgcamd
attributes set to 755
open softcam.mgcamd
and look how mgcamd is spelt
the bin file in usr/bin
must match the name spelling in the scriptexample my softcam.mgcamd script
when opened is looking for mgcamd_1.38d in /usr/binlike below
put your mg_cfg, newcamd.list, cccamd.list in /var/keys
and it will work -
Wow thanks lads what great support, love to try oscamymod and will also try your suggestion davvo.
-
Convert your N or C line to a [reader] with CCcam2Oscam. Add this to oscam.server that is attached.. Place the configs into /etc/tuxbox/config folder..
-
There is no mgcamd in usr/bin and no matter how i try to install mgcamd,either by the tspanel softcam or opendroid info panel, just get the same error as before and will not install, i have also tried converting line and placed config files as above but no joy, think its time to try a different image, shame rather liked this one.
Just one last thing before i try another image, can i placed a mgcamd file in usr/bin/mgcamd or would that not work? -
unzip the ipk with 7-zip
then ftp the files to the right directorys/places

Dont want to sound dim but which ipk are you referring to?
