  • I have 2 cards in my duo2 0963 & mtv 0b00 and need to know if the below config will update them both using dvbapi?

    oscam.conf
    [global]
    nice = -1
    waitForCards = 1
    clientTimeout = 5
    cacheDelay = 120
    logfile = /var/log/oscam.log
    disablelog = 1

    [dvbapi]
    enabled = 1
    user = linuxsat
    boxtype = dreambox
    au = 1

    [webif]
    httpport = 8888
    httpuser =
    httppwd =
    httprefresh = 15
    httpallowed = 192.168.0.0 - 255.255.255.255
    debug = 255

    oscam.server

    [reader]
    label = MTV
    protocol = internal
    detect = cd
    device = /dev/sci0
    group = 1
    caid = 0b00
    ident = 0b00:000000
    emmcache = 1,3,2

    [reader]
    label = SKYUK
    protocol = internal
    device = /dev/sci1
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    blockemm-g = 1
    saveemm-u = 1
    saveemm-s = 1
    emmcache = 1,3,2
    group = 2
    caid = 0963

    oscam.user

    [account]
    user = linuxsat
    pwd = ****
    group = 1, 2
    au = MTV, SKYUK

    Thanks in advance.

    Bump. Sorry if I'm being inpatient but I've just upgraded my uk card and I haven't received the EMM yet.

    Using the latest version of oscam on vix

  • No and yes is your answer , you would need to have trusted peers with au enabled for these cards pointed at the satellites in question , you alone would only point at either satellite
    Your entitlements should update in minutes also if you upgraded and all is in order

    I've noticed if I set au to = both readers oscam auto selects the first reader only so I don't think both cards will update with au set to one of the readers, am I right? Would I need to set it to 1?

    au = MTV, SKYUK it's right
    it's important to enable other users
    which protocol are you using?

  • Hello everyone its good to be back been away for a while.

    As stated in previous post when I set au = MTV,skyuk will auto select MTV when I save config. Would setting au = 1 be the solution for updating 2 cards without having to select one or the other every time I want to update a card ?

    The wiki states - au = 1 # auto AU is sending EMMs to all readers.. So you don`t necessarily need the label of the reader.

    You could try adding auprovid = 0963:00000 & auprovid = 0b00:000000 to each reader. set provider ID to use the right reader for auto AU.

  • au = 1
    Or
    au = slyuk (or whatever your reader is labelled/called)

    Dvbapi is needed if your server is on a receiver which you use to watch tv.
    Without it, oscam cannot decrypt / de-scramble the channel.
