After doing a reflash on solo2 when I bring up channel list there is only room for 3 channels
as everything is too big,how can I get them small again

When you have the epg open press the menu button..... scroll down to "number of rows" change this to whatever suits you best....

Would like to see a picture of this. Default is 16 rows. What skin are you using?

when viewing normal tv, press the down arrow once on your remote..... this will bring up a channel list, now press menu and then settings. In here change show crypto icons & service type icons.....
