Icecrypt 3700chd/latest HDMU cannot sort CCcam about to stamp on box!

  • I flogged this box to a mate about 6 months ago.. line stopped working for reasons unknown, asked me to look at the box & try to resolve... reflashed with latest HDMU, rescanned satellite (28.2) on both satellite tuners, all fine, autobouquets working fine, picons, EPG all fine...

No matter what I try I cannot get the C line login to work, driving me mental.

So, can I ask the following:

First off, what is the best softcam to use and where can I get it?
Secondly, can I ftp a CCcam.cfg file to a particular location, restart & all is well? (please name location)
If not, if it's oscam, what version to install, where do I get it from, where are the files for me to adjust (put my line in)

I have spent 2 days on various forums, looked at loads of threads... personally I have a Vu Plus Solo2 with OpenPLI and it all works great took me about half an hour from flashing to get it 100%... this on the other hand is really, REALLY pissing me off!

Hopefully someone can save my sanity!

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi

When a friend bought the same box I had problems setting Cs.

G&&gle for xcamclient and xcamconfig, that is what I used to setup Cs on his box as a client.

I could not get dcc working to add a cline as this need to be done on the box via remote and xcamconfig.
I will try and find the file another forum member sent to me to get it working tomorrow.

    Thanks

  • ok i believe this should be treated as a alien2 and as such a sh4, you will not get cccam to work

next best thing is use oscam with cccam inside the oscam.server file

as for dcc the user is root and password HDMU

any more questions by all means get back to me

    • Official Post

Use the attached oscam for HDMU image.

Convert the C line to a [reader] with CCcam2Oscam. Add the [reader] to oscam.server file. You can find this in /usr/keys or add it in the oscam webinterface.

Connect to oscam webif in a browser like so: http://192.168.1.1:8888 (change ip address to the receivers)

    Code
    [webif]
    httpport                      = 8888
    httpuser                      = root
    httppwd                       = oscam

Click Files tab > oscam.server > paste in the [reader] then save ? Restart oscam..

  • Great support fellers many thanks! I booted into spark yesterday & updated to latest version... quite right what you say about it being same as an Alien 2, basically the same box outta the same factory just rebadged.

I went into the plugins and got the line connected and working, so worst ways I'll give the box back but working in Spark only. I will keep at it as the EPG and so on in E2 is much better, although I heard the crossEPG in Spark had been updated since I last looked at it so that might do it.

I will try your suggestions & get back to the forum with results, it night help someone else!

    Thanks lads, regards, Steve.

Gents I've messed about with this for hours and still can't get a result... here's what I did:

    Fresh install of HDMU

Scanned satellites (28.2) on both tuners, installed picons, autobouguets, software control all working fine.

FTP'd the OSCAM .ipk you posted above to /tmp

Using the remote, plugins>software centre>software manager>install local extension

    Installed OK, no errors.

Used the converter to get the details from the c: line.

Copied details, used filezilla to edit oscam.server. Added the server details at the very bottom of the file leaving all else intact.

Saved file back to server, restarted box.

Went into HDMU center>softcam control> started softcam.

So that's where I'm at and still no channels clearing & no ecm info.

I must be doing something wrong, when editing the oscam.server do I just add my details to the end? Or wipeout what's in there and replace with mine?

Also do I need to change any other files?

  • Also I logged into the WIF and it all seemed OK... I tried deleting everything in the server file except my reader but still no joy.

I'm giving up for now until someone more knowledgable helps!

Thanks guys, time for a red stripe!

Ah, our posts crossed! Yes I literally just tried that, then resterted OSCAM to no avail...

I think I'm going to just give up with this box & sell the piece of shite, I wish I'd never bought it in the first place... the amount of time I've spent arseing about with it would have earned me enough to buy a Vu Plus, configure it fully in half an hour and give them that!

Anyway, I might come back to it, I know the technical guy at Icecrypt, I'll call him & see if he has a better image I can use...

    Thanks all!

  • Update... spoke to Icecrypt support today, the guy I normally talk to is off sick but I left them my e-mail address, hopefully at some point I'll get a drop box link to the latest image that I know works 100 percent...

  • Well, I'm still no further on here lads, tried everything suggested, tried the line in another box works fine so deffo not that, tried using the web server to do the config, no dice... just for the record, within the HDMU plugins section, I have the choice to install 5 oscam plugs:

    oscam 10615 (7.00)
    OSCam Build 10615 DVBAPI WEBIF

    oscam10615libusb (7.00)
OSCam Build 10615 DVBAPI WEBIF LIBUSB

    oscam6666 (6.00)
    OSCam Build 6666 DVBAPI WEBIF

    oscam7888 (7.00)
    OSCam Build 7888 DVBAPI WEBIF

Which is the best one any why?

    Thanks guys!

  • Mate I did a back up for the alien 2 that includes sat and cable, everything is working in that all you have to do is edit the oscam.server file and away you go, try that first, because with hdmu all I do is install the latest oscam, edit the oscam.server file and make blank the oscam.dvbapi file and it works, you could try oscam 6666 as one of the later oscams didn't work, can't remember which one though
