  • I feel like a dumbass but I can't get a c-line to work with tvheadend.

    I followed a video tutorial here that get me as far as having oscam installed, from there I don't know how that connects to tvheadend and how to add a c-line to connect to a cccam server.

    I tried adding the server details to the oscam.server too in this style:

    [reader]
    label = CCcam_Server
    protocol = CCcam
    device = serverurl,serverport
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    user = username
    password = password
    inactivitytimeout = 1
    caid = 0963
    ident = 0000:000000
    group = 1

    but that didn't work.

    Any help would be great, thanks.

  • Remove the key and in oscam webif make sure the use and reader are both started they should show a pause symbol and not a play symbol

    Your ident is also wrong

    Caid and ident are not really required it will limit you to only 0963 from your line

  • I actually removed a lot that too and tried, didn't work like this either:

    [reader]
    label = CCcam_Server
    protocol = CCcam
    device = serverurl,serverport
    user = username
    password = password
    group = 1

    i use web interface of oscam to add my c and n line each time, but also I keep backup so it is very easy to restore

    I don't suppose you have any links that describe how to do this?

  • Use ftp like filezilla to go in to the box and copy the oscam.server to location for oscam.server is /mnt/shell/emulated/0/config

    [reader]
    label = CCcam
    enable = 1
    protocol = cccam
    device = linuxsat-support.org,12000
    user = linuxsat-support
    password = linuxsat-support
    cccversion = 2.1.4
    cccmaxhops = 3
    group = 1

    where linuxsat-support is replace your own cline!!!

    and restart oscam and it works?
