Hi Guys I have a "No CA Error" and was going to fix it with dreamup and dreamup second stage pack but I cant get reamup to start? its on com 1 and I have a null modem cable which I have used before on dm500s am using windows 7 with dreamup 1.3.3.7. I connect null mkodem cable start dreamup and press connect and get "unable to open com port aborting.
I know the cable is fine as if I change the port to com2 in device mgr then it reflects that in dreamup. Any ideas?? cheers guys
cheers Ten tried thaty and no joy so went to buy seial to rs232 plus new null modem cable. tried new cable no joy but usb to serial came up as com 2 and did the repair. just need to reflash now. Again cheers.
COM/Serial port issue by the sounds of it, can do a loopback test on the port to check if it's working.

Hi lfc the com port is fine as I use my infinity on it to read my sly card and works ok. Its really strange why it didn't work as its a pci serial card and I have used it before to flash dm500. Anyway job done with the usb to serial asapter.
