    Just tried to add this to a new install using http://xfinity.xunitytalk.com and it fails? Been having a look around and there's some dispute with AAA addon anyone know how to get this addon installed? You just get a failed message saying check your internet connection. Cheers guys

  • feeds down for maintenance

    Hi Guys,
    My cross epg just stopped working the other day. I have a technomate TM 2T oe with Vix image on it. Crossepg has been fine but when I went to download it the other day as some channel info was missing, it just said downloading then the vix spinner came up and then it finished but no download?? I tried a few more times but no joy. I thought I would remove the cross plugin and reinstall it to see if that would fix it. As soon as press green button to download plugins it comes back with "feeds are down for maintenance" Its been like that for a few days now. Anybody else getting the same message when trying to download plugins?

    Hi canthackit. I have edited the cccam cofig file and added my boxkey but it doesn't clear channels is the dev/sci0 corect for technomate re card slot?. Does it need any other config in cccam to just read card. I didn't thinks so as I am not sharing this card not even locally just want to use my T/mate as a reciever

    I want to run my card in my technomate box. I did this fine in my dreambox ages back and thaought it was just editing ccam config txt and putting your boxkey in. I have my boxkey and I know its good as my card woz running on my oscam server. Is there anything else I need to do bearing in mind my box is a tchnomate so I have this in my cfg file...

    Hi Guys have read this thread and it seems someone has flashed a vix image on this box. I have just got one and realise its a clone vu+solo and have the openvix image I want to load on it. I can't find the process to flash it. I assume usb so can someone post what I should be doinf re steps. I have the image on a fat32 usb stick and the folder structure is... openvix-3.0.722-vusolo_usb\vuplus\solo then the files. Is this correct?


    Do I just pop in the usb and power on?
    what indicators should I see to say its flashing/complete as there is no led screen?


    Any help appreciated guys

    you connect your solo to the network or your internal LAN. When you power it up it will get an ip from your router go into solo menu and find network settings (dont know solo so cant say where) in there you will see the ip address. use this to ftp to your box

    Hi Guys,
    Just wanted to pass a scenario by you guys to see if its doable. OK lets say I have a box that can read a N3 card and clear the channels but has no server capability only client. It has newcamd and cccam as part of its firmware. Is there a way for me to connect to it via oscam and use the card for sharing? I am just doing some research at the mo. Thanks guys.:feel_good:

    Hi all, I have no access to the site, Im still waiting on the new ip fully propagating, having to use a proxy here.


    @ simon, I got sorted last night, CapNCook had an old box and kindly gave me the serial and version #, put the card back in my vu+ultimo and paired the card to the new details,.. everything came back on immediately , So just for the record, if you have got stung by recent *** firmware upgrade and your card is no longer usable for premium content in you linux receiver getting the card pair to a thompson HD box will get it working again (More than likely this will be the same case for all SD boxes and possibly other HD boxes that are not running the latest firmware. (if anyone knows the firmware versions that will lock the card post below, .. the one that locked mine was 4f31d6. I`m also thinking it may be possible to spoof your firmware version to *** if you are locked to this and get the card activated in your dreambox etc (I cannot be 100% sure of this as I have not tested myself, but might be worth a try if your stuck), If you disconnect your *** box from phone line and LAN and try pairing by saying you have an older firmware it may work, If *** already knows that box is on the latest firmware you can forget it though.... If its not yet on it disconnect it from phone/interent and disconnect the fplugs.. even better unplug it and put it in the loft ...


    Think the biggest note to make here is DO NOT RETURN YOUR CARD TO THE OFFICIAL RECEIVER, UPDATE USING CCCAM OR OSCAM IN YOUR LINUX BOX !!!!

    M8 you say you have ubuntu server so I assume this has a card reader attached and you are using oscam as the card reader and server. When dyu say you have tried 5 others what do you mean? you have put the card in 5 other boxes? If what you are saying is that the card stays in the server and it only updates when one of your clients is online then it is probably because that one is set up for AU and not any other. I am guessing here as we need to see the configs especially server.cfg and users. Post em up m8 and we can have a look.

    on your reader config you are running it as a mouse config TTYusb0 go to readers in oscam and scan usb ports you should see something like this...
