PCSC tools for server
apt-get install opensc pcscd libccid
then
apt-get install pcsc-tools
nano /etc/opensc/opensc.conf

And change thise lines by removing # from front and reader_drivers lines u delete one comand too:

reader_drivers = pcsc, ctapi;
try_emulation_first = yes;
lock_login = false;

What does that mean as I cant really decipher it. Does it mean that I make sure everything is rem'd or #'d out then add those three lines???

OK this is a bit weird. I have two linux server side by side one is working fine and has a smargo on a powered hub. clears everything no probs. My new linux server set up today with omnikey will work fine until you go to a *** channel then we get the above errors. So my mates channels will clear on one server but not the other?? Any help cheers. Omnikey has worked in the past and am assuming its good as it reads the card and sees the entitlements

OK Guys have a post running on my attempt to setup a windows oscam environment using cygwin and omnikey 3121. Post is here..

Anyway had no response to my question so decided to setup a linux ubuntu server with omnikey support so followed tut here.

Fired up oscam and it sees reader so popped the sly card in and it saw one remote user (mate) who I had on the phone, and my local box. Went to a scrambled channel and it failed. Here is the whole log from when it init card to seeing 2 users then failing when we went to a scrambled channel. I must say the message seems to be the same as my windows environment issue... Log

Am pulling my hair out here. (not much anyway LOL). Trying to get this working and I am sure I had it working a while back. My main box is linux but this is backup. OK here are the details....

The clue is in the name mate. Cardsharing. You need something to share with someone so he/she can share something with you. Or at least a very helpful person who is willing to share with you initially. an example of this is say you have a porn card and offered a share of it then someone might say "I want that, here's a share of my sly card". Hope this outlines the theory mate

Obviously nobody else has same issues so will have a play with other versions:coldls:

Just updated oscam to svn8347 on my ubuntu server and ecms went from 90ms to 150ms ? anybody else experience this at all? was running 70?? cant remember last two digits. I have the earlier oscam file so could go back but I haven't done an update for a while so thought I would.

As you can see I have newcamd hashed out. If I was to remove the hash in front and set a box up with newcamd Nline would that work as well as the Cline

Hi Guys, just got one of these and set it up ok. done a full channel scan and sly sports 2 HD isn't there? went to add the transponder and it says its already there did a rescan but cant see sly sports HD. Any help/thoughts cheers guys

OK guys fixed it. Don't ask how as I am not sure. I have updated to the ecm whitelist shown above and rebooted my linux box. it then couldn't read card? so cleaned contacts and rebooted again and hey presto 3d channel is back. If you change update the ecm whitelist does it need a full reboot to take effect? anyway its all up and running again. Thanks Musogeek for your input mate.

Put slybox back online and it works so must be oscam or image. But why work for 1 hr then stop and if oscam why fail on both linux server and windows. Any Advice guys. My next step was to reflash with a different image grasping at straws really

Also ran up oscam for windows and getting the same there. I think I will put my sly box online tomorrow and give em a call if that is the same. Strange it initially worked tho.

Actually the channel was already in the stgflipflop list on entertainment so I switched to it and hey presto swansea/chelsea game in my living room. worked fine for about 1 hour and now a blank screen??? I have rebooted box reloaded stgflipflop file checked freq all ok. I then looked at my oscam server and under LB value/reader for my lounge client it says "By not found 0ms" ?? any ideas all other channels ok and initially this was ok. I have rebooted oscam twice but no joy

Just got a bargain 47 inch 3D tv. I have phoned sly to enable 3d content which is free. How do I know what are the 3d channels? is there a channel list around with them in? I use STGflipflop normally. Sorry if its a silly question. Virtual 3d is the dogs on it as well but would like to see what full 3d looks like now I have my new toy.

Can someone who has it running give that a go and see if the answer matches your boxkey. I have tried this using hex calculator and used the result as the boxkey but it still says "check rsa and boxkey" Cheers guys its simple to do just select scientific calculatoe then hex radio button then qword radio button.n top box paste first 8 bytes (Y1) press xor then paste second 8 bytes (Y2) and press = that should give you the BK well thats the theory Lol.
