Smargo not working?
How do you have the device/smargo setup in oscam.server ? Post your configs.
Are there any other errors in oscam webinfo ?
Have you tried connecting the smargo without the hub, then run dmesg again to see if it is the smargo or hub that has the problem ?
Are there configs in CCcam.cfg for the smargo as well ?
Thx for your reply. My mistake...:ops: I had the card upside down. REMEBER: CHIP UP!!!

This is working settings for 093E card in Vu+ Duo with Black hole 1.6.6 image. Oscam 1.20 unstable 5985/ CCcam 2.13.
Yes I have..thx. Working find now. Card is a bit slow in opening. Maybe I shall change the reader settings...?
With those configs still in CCcam.cfg CCcam will be reading the card, remove them if you want oscam to be card reader.
master G
You're so right. I can't have double cardreaders......Thx
Why are you using ccam with oscamon the same machine, just activate the dvbapi in oscam conf and remove cccam on this machine. update of you card will most likely bettter happen with oscam alone

I'm new to Oscam and trying different combos to get the fastest ecm time. I have an Nds card, using a Smargo in a D-link hub, and getting "slow" ecm times. Between 350-400. I have a Conax card in my DM600 in my bedroom, sharing between them, and the Conax card open up a lot faster (on Vu+) even though it "travels through" Homeplugs etc, to my Vu+ in the livingroom. I think I should be able to get around 150-200 on my NDS card. It does'nt matter if I set 357, 500 or 600mhz in Oscam config.
I tried Oscam dvdapi, Camd 3.57 and CCcam. Any other ideas?
The hub is a few years old, but power supplied and using usb-2.0.
They do seem a bit on the high side although i have no experience using this card. Have you tried it without the hub connected?
I also notice you are using a combination of oscam/cccam to share so this bit is not required

dmesg will have to leave something like this:

drivers/usb/serial/ftdi_sio.c: Detected FT232BM

luck.....
fogonero!
I tried your suggestion and I'm getting ok answers:
/usr/sbin/hald
/usr/sbin/pcscd
Still bad ecm times though...strange is that it does'nt matter how I set the reader settings, 357, 500 or 600 mgz. Thx for helping
look at the dmseg, if the USB is OK. As I put it up.
if so, you have to look at something in your setup that is wrong. oscam eye that many people can not read your card inserted in a Smargo. CCcam try and go only with ruling out possible problems.
I put a comment BH drivers coders @angelof***1980:
QuoteVery strange.
My smargo working properly after enabling their kernel drivers into Blue Panel.
