  • Why are you using ccam with oscamon the same machine, just activate the dvbapi in oscam conf and remove cccam on this machine. update of you card will most likely bettter happen with oscam alone

    I'm new to Oscam and trying different combos to get the fastest ecm time. I have an Nds card, using a Smargo in a D-link hub, and getting "slow" ecm times. Between 350-400. I have a Conax card in my DM600 in my bedroom, sharing between them, and the Conax card open up a lot faster (on Vu+) even though it "travels through" Homeplugs etc, to my Vu+ in the livingroom. I think I should be able to get around 150-200 on my NDS card. It does'nt matter if I set 357, 500 or 600mhz in Oscam config.
    I tried Oscam dvdapi, Camd 3.57 and CCcam. Any other ideas?
    The hub is a few years old, but power supplied and using usb-2.0.

    • Official Post

    They do seem a bit on the high side although i have no experience using this card. Have you tried it without the hub connected?
    I also notice you are using a combination of oscam/cccam to share so this bit is not required

    Code
    [COLOR=white][cccam]
    port                                        = 15500
    reshare                                   = 1
    forward_origin_card                 = 1
    version                                   = 2.1.3
    updateinterval                         = 240
    keepconnected                        = 1[/COLOR]

  • dmesg will have to leave something like this:

    smargo OK:

    Code
    usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
    ftdi_sio 1-2:1.0: FTDI USB Serial Device converter detected
    drivers/usb/serial/ftdi_sio.c: Detected FT232BM
    usb 1-2: FTDI USB Serial Device converter now attached to ttyUSB0

    to see if this helps you:

    Driver smargo for all OE 1.6 Images

    - Restart the Vudu

    Installing from telnet:
    - Navigate to the folder tmp cd / tmp

    ps aux | grep hald
    ps aux | grep pcscd

    if we have the answers

    /usr/sbin/hald

  • fogonero!
    I tried your suggestion and I'm getting ok answers:

    /usr/sbin/hald
    /usr/sbin/pcscd

    Still bad ecm times though...strange is that it does'nt matter how I set the reader settings, 357, 500 or 600 mgz. Thx for helping

  • look at the dmseg, if the USB is OK. As I put it up.
    if so, you have to look at something in your setup that is wrong. oscam eye that many people can not read your card inserted in a Smargo. CCcam try and go only with ruling out possible problems.

    I put a comment BH drivers coders @angelof***1980:
