How to set up harddrive for recording and epg?

    successfully flashed my amiko alien 2 with openATV 5.0 and have the blue hd v3 skin on it and the only problem is that when I press "epg" and the epg shows up, nothing appears so I decided to order the Samsung M3 1TB hard drive to enable me to download epg data using crossepg and to record. Now what I want to know is how do I set up the hard drive from when I get it and format it and mount it to setting up the folders on the hard drive?

    go to setup, select system, extended system then storage devices then select initialization, that will format and initialize your hard drive for you. Once formatted and initialized you cant mount the drive by going to info panel, plugins then selecting mount manager, I also suggest setting up swap file in the same menu as this image works well but uses almost all available ram on this box if you install extra plugins.
