Trying Blackhole but I'm having a problem with EPG summaries disappearing after you zap on a channel - the summaries are there when you open the channel list but after you zap on a channel and come back out into the channel lst the summary for that channel is gone.This happens on every BH image that I have used.I am running Open TV Epg with Crossepg.
Is anybody else having this probelm?

Using BH 1.6.6, CrossEPG with OpenTV Providers and dont have this problem buddy.
You could check this thread to see if you have missed something in setup, How to : Setup CrossEPG and BlackHole EPG settings.

ok, just to followup, I have followed instructions and have checked settings but summaries still disappear.

Try using one of the already setup images in the images section. Im using the UK ready blackhole 1.66 and it works perfect for me.

I have to say that have the exact same problem as Stanley1 - I have tried loads of BH images but can't sort it.

Joc10 & Stanley1 where are you storing the epg data, hdd or usb?

same here, usb and hdd, results are the same.

Had a similar problem..
I uninstalled crossepg..
Wiped all files from HDD..
And did a fresh install..
Worked a1 after that!

Can you elaborate a little glenviewjf ? Did you wipe everything on the HDD - sorry if this is a stupid question but I have movies etc on the HDD

Yes i used the TS Panel to uninstall crossepg..
Used DCC to ftp to media/hdd and deleted the crossepg files from it!
Then i rebooted.. And installed in the new then again!
