How to set a C line on Vu+ Duo 2 on Vix image.

    Hi, I am an beginner and I'm trying to set up my Vu+ Duo 2. I plan to have it running on OpenVix image due to it being family friendly.
    I am told I would need a C or N line.
    Could you please tell me:
    Difference between these lines?
    Can I watch a large number of channels without purchasing gifts?
    And how I can add them via USB, As I've been told Doing It manually is very complicated?

    C- line is using cccam protocol
    N- line is using newcamd protocol

    Manually isn't that difficult.
    You can use a ftp program to communicate with your receiver (dreambox control centre {DCC}, filezilla, winscp to name a few)
