Hi after some research the problem is caused by CrossEPG patch Installed in image when another enigma is installed the crossepg works.

Hi,
Ive loaded Nemesis 2.4 onto my DM8000 and set up crossEpg.
Only problem doesn't seem to be working, even reloaded image
and started again. Same problem, just got now on and next,I;ve even deleted everything in media/hd/crossepg.
Also gone into system settings and turned of EPG confiAnyone got any ideas please?

Got it set up ok, also found this thread

found the answer searching the net on another forum as follows:
you must restart the img 2.4 on experimental mode, works CrossEPG
Blue->Yellow->Configure Console/RC/Enigma->Select Enigma Version
Restart Enigma2Enigma can be run in 2 modes on this image 2.4 and experimental, you need to run the experimental mode for Crossepg to work.
