  • Hi guys:

Setting up my system for cardsharing as a newbie to CS., I got stuck at a point in the process. I was trying to do a port forwarding on my router and got stuck. I have a Huawei Hg 556a router. I got to the NAT-Virtual Servers Page section where a box says: "Server Ip Address". This where I am confused because I do not know which device Ip to put in that box. Is the "Server Ip Address" the same as my PC Static Ip address that I have configured or is it the Ip Address of my Dream box? I need to know this before I can proceed and I appreciate any advice on this. Thanks

Portforward the ip address of the dreambox.
Make sure the router can see the device on the network first or portforwarding wont work.
Turn on DHCP in the network settings on the dreambox and then open the port. Dont forget to turn off dhcp after you have done this so your ip address stays static.
Set "Server listen port" in cccam.cfg to whatever port you just openned.
Reboot your router and dreambox to confirm the changes.
Then check canyouseeme.org to see if your port is open.
