Sky subscription

    I am setting up a Wetek play Openelec running TVHEadend. I am sorry if this has been asked before but I cannot find it in the forum. To get my box running, errr, "Properly" do I need to have a basic sky subscription and card? If not what do I need?

    Of course you need this to view any ppv channels on any platform.
    Unless you have a friend who already does and is willing to share it with you..
    in that case you need to setup OScam on openelec to accept his "share"..
    If you look in the cardsharing section you will read about this subject..
    Alternative would be to use openATV ( enigma2) image instead of openelec...
    An easy way round this would be to use a backup made by another fellow user and simply configure it for your own personal use...
