Now you're asking too much of me :)

Work on one skin at a time, open a notebook and mark the skins you've made.

My friend, it was really hard, and I had to find the time to do all this during this difficult period.

I wouldn't even earn anything from it.

Now I deserve a lot of rest.

... Thanks for the beer to anyone who wants to buy it. I'll always say it. It feels like being in the desert and without even water here.

    :smiling face with sunglasses:

  • But is it possible to indicate to the program a folder on the PC different from the original one containing the skins and if so, how is it done?

    Tnk

Actually, no, an exception was made to import the screens and network skins of the box.

But it's not possible for a small reason: I'd like the program to find its libraries, such as fonts and other files, in the previous and next folders.

But maybe it should be included.

I don't know, as soon as I can, let's try to include this feature. Even though... in my opinion, it's already done well this way ;)

    **Changelog** `v5.0.0.1`

    – Added 'Open skin from folder...' menu entry (fully translatable, any folder support).

  • I fixed the distorted ruler issue; it was caused by a changed DPI setting, but I still have a question. Have you noticed that the horizontal ruler overlaps the window menus and you can no longer reach the "RULES" button to disable it? In your last post #195, this is clearly visible, even in the image you posted.

  • Dear developers, thank you for your hard work! The latest version runs on Windows 11, but it cannot save settings. After closing the app, it automatically reverts to the default settings—including the set-top box IP address, password, and language settings—none of which are saved. I’m not sure if this is a system issue, but I’m experiencing the same problem on both of my computers.

It says ruler there. It doesn't matter. You can translate it with fewer words or I'll remove it. This is bullshit.

  • Sorry to repeat myself, but I don't understand.

The previous post mentioned a button partially covered by the ruler, but it seems to me that ALL the buttons under the ruler are covered, including the one that deactivates the rulers themselves, and I don't see any other way to do this other than with the RULERS button.

(Is there another way... a key combination or something ?)

But isn't it possible to lower the horizontal ruler slightly so as to leave the window control buttons visible?

    Thanks.

Of course, you're all right, but you have to be patient, especially since no one here has even offered a beer for all the work... and there are a lot of downloads, not to mention that there's an online update for the program...

I don't have to apologize to anyone, on the contrary...

I'll take my time... but take my time...

In fact, everything is fixed in the next version... as per the photo

provided I post it online... provided I post it online...

    cheers :clinking beer mugs:

  • You're the best, and I would never allow myself to criticize you unnecessarily. I don't think you have any obligations to anyone for the work you do for free, and if you thought that, I apologize. As with me in other fields, I think what you produce is actually done because it gives you personal satisfaction, and it grows the more perfect the final result.

    Best regards

  • Hi BIG BOSS!

I tried using your latest version and I have to say that the use of rulers is now manageable, but I'd like to offer some suggestions to make everything even more usable. Sorry if this is a bit long. The current situation is as follows:

    WITH RULER ENABLE

    Now.jpg

    WITH RULER DISABLED

    Now1.jpg

As you can see, the horizontal ruler overlaps the SKIN, making it impossible to work in that area.

A previous version of the program looked like this.

    old.jpg

Now you decide what the best setting is, but, saying right away that I'm not a programmer and have no idea how complex it is, if I were able to do it, I'd try to achieve the following result.

    WITH RULER DISABLED

    New.jpg

    WITH RULER ENABLE

    New1.jpg

As you can see from the images I produced with an editor, with the rulers DISABLE the SKIN appears centered immediately below and to the left of the frame to maximize the available space. When the rulers are ENABLE, they appear as shown in the image, and the SKIN moves in relation to them without ending up underneath them.

That's all, what do you think of my analysis? Let me be clear: it's just a suggestion and has no pretensions; I posted it simply to give you additional ideas.

    Best regards

  • Well, MUCH BETTER, the SKIN doesn't rise when you remove the gills, but the improvement is still noticeable.

I noticed, however, that if you change the SKIN size with the slider control, the rulers don't change accordingly. In version v4.2.3.9, it worked correctly, perhaps something happened that jammed it.

    Anyway, great work.

    Thanks and regards.
