amiko alien video output problem, please help!!!

    My alien will boot up on HDMI but when it nearly boots up fully the screen goes blank.
    Is there anyway of factory resetting this device on startup?
    Changing HDMI leads doesnt work and i cant see anything.
    Box is on atv 5.1
