I found the software HERE, it does not look like it can run enigma though.

Try disconnecting HDD or any other USb devices you have connected to the back and reflash again.

I had simular problem to yourself, oscam was dropping out and i had to restart it to get it working again.

Alot of people are reporting the same issues with ViX and they are trying to make oscam more stable.

I switched to blackhole and the problem went away.

I can off-course start the script manually, but I have to do it each time I reboot the DM800, it's a little bit annoying. On older releases this type of config was though the /var/etc/softcam.config file. There is no such file on this image now.

Since I tried with some variants without success, do You possible know the key filename for such a script? or how to manage this manually?

One hop is used between each box you share to down the line, if the card is showing as hop1 in your vu+ duo then check you havent removed 256 from the end of the nline in the cccam.cfg.

A one click programme to solve the problem if you accidentally forgot the pin of a channel that has parental lock.

mgcamd 1.36 is the binary not a script, so it will go into directory /usr/bin/.

You probably know MGCamd. This is great client EMU that is in my opinion better than CCcam and OScam (as client!!). Configuring is quite easy, you just need to have right instructions :) For example, OScam is real pain in the arse when you want to set it up.

In the attached file you will get mgcamd 1.38 for mipsel receivers (VU+, CT and Dreambox receivers) + two config files. One is called mg_cfg, other one is cccamd.list. Both files need to be in var/keys

mg_cfg is already edited so it can be used immediately (mgcamd+cccam connection)! What you need to do is to make a C line and copy/paste it in cccamd.list file. Easy! I assume you know how to make C line? First you need to make F line on your server side where cccam is running. Then simply make C line from that F line!

And thats it! You now have MGCamd as a client, which is connected to CCcam server. You will see that MGCamd is very fast when it comes to zapping speed ;) :!

There are three files in the zip file;

cccamd = config file ( put your c line here, example C: 192.168.1.67 12000 user pass )
mg_cfg = config file
mgcamd_138 = binary

There is no script included.

You will need to install Mgcamd from your addons panel then replace the existing files with the files above.

Then you can you can start/stop EMU.

If you are running Mgcamd and CCcam on the same server you will need to edit the existing Mgcamd script usually found in /usr/camscript/ with whats below.

Easy install of OScam on Enigma2 (mips-tuxbox) based STB without the need of any third party plugin or SoftCam Manager pre-installed.

Goal:

Install OSCam on a STB running Enigma2 (mips-tuxbox plateform) without the need of another plugin or a softcam manager.

This way of working should work for almost any E2 image, there will be no integration with any SoftCam Manager but we will install a very good plugin dedicated to OScam, which will allows you to control the OScam status and even restart it: OScamStatus.

Pre-requisite:

- a linux Enigma2 based STB on which you can run OScam in its mips-tuxbox version (to be able to use the pack like it is)
- your stb should have an internal card reader referenced by /dev/sci0
- being able to connect to your STB in telnet and FTP (with DCC or any other program)
- being able to follow and type some simple commands or being able to do cut and paste :-)
- we consider that your STB has no other running softcam before following this tutorial (typically on a brand new E2 image installation). If another softcam is running, it can prevent OScam from running properly.

Installation:

Take the pack attached to this tuto (easy-oscam.tgz).
Transfer the pack in the folder /tmp of your E2 STB by FTP.

Connect via telnet and type the following commands (or even better make cut and paste) the cd / at the very beginning is really important don't skip it:

cd /
tar -xvzf /tmp/easy-oscam.tgz
/tmp/oscam-install.sh

Ypur STB will make a full reboot.

Now you have:

- OScam installed on your STB in the folder /usr/bin and the configuration files are in /var/tuxbox/config
- OScam will autostart when you reboot your STB.
- OScam is active in dvbapi mode so it is self sufficient, no need for any other softcam to run.
- The web interface of OScam is accessible from

http://ip_of_your_réceiver:16001

(Login: username password: password)
- The internal card reader /dev/sci0 is enabled
- The plugin Oscam Status release 0.41-r0 is installed

With the plugin OScam Status you can control the status and even restart your OScam, no need to any SoftCam Manager integration specific for each image.
It should appears in your Plugins list. If you change the login / password of the OScam webif, don't forget to change it too in the Oscam Status plugin otherwhise it won't work anymore.

Good to know

The OScam executable is installed into the folder /usr/bin
The OScam configuration files are placed into the folder /var/tuxbox/config

If you want to test a newer version of OScam you just need to:

- Copy the new executable version (we will call it: The_New_Name_of_the_new_version) into the /usr/bin folder.

Go in telnet and type:

cd /usr/bin
killall oscam
rm oscam
ln -s  The_New_Name_of_the_new_version oscam
chmod 755 oscam
sync
sync
reboot -f

In softcam manager have you got CCcam to run at startup, is there a green tick on CCcam ?

The .bak files do not affect the running of oscam mate, they are simply a backup of your old configs.
