You can download the oscam+CCcam2.1.3 combo from the addons panel, Dream elite is the only image im aware off that you can do it this way.
Or you can add the oscam binary manually to /usr/bin/ chmod 755 and edit the CCcam2.1.3 script in /usr/camscript/ with the attached file.
The script allows you to use softcam manager to restart oscam+CCcam, it starts oscam first then CCcam 15 seconds later. -

An nline from newcamd can be entered in the dm500 cccam.cfg if this is what you are asking.
-
I`m not sure how to setup openbox as newcamd server, why not run the dm500 as server and openbox as client.

You could check that the recording path is actually recording to /media/hdd/movie, it could be set to somewhere else.

Wifi Plugin
Description:
What's new in 1.2:
- a signal strenght, noise measurement and so on.
- support for an adhoc connection.
That's a peer-to-peer connection without a router.
Nice for testing...
- after stopping the wifi interface you don't need to start the plugin twice.
Thus, a bug fix.
- the buttons are a bit changed.
"Save" is to save the settings but the plugin will not quit.
So you can check your link status directly.
Use "exit" to quit the plugin (after saving if you want to preserve the settings). These adapters are supported and tested:

Unzip the zip file using the directory structure and store the files on the dreambox.
The files are already in directories like var and var/plugins so that's not too difficult.
You must edit the file manually /var/etc/init if you want to startup the plugin automaticly during booting:/var/wifi/wifistart.sh
-
You need to post the log showing us the error and your configs so we can help edit them.
