This post reminds me of when i had just started with a dm500, I am sure a reflash via null modem will get it going again & don't think your motor is the problem. Try to factory reset the image if you can get as far as that, i think the problem may be the way you configured the motor settings.
Can you tell us the image you have installed now & as much info as possible about how you configured the motor settings on the image.

This may make no difference but worth a shot first.

Erase Image 500

flash this then new image of your choice.

DHCP will need to be enabled for the initial connection, then you can set an ip address of your choice, then disable DHCP again for a static ip address.
You will be able to see if its connected in your router under LAN settings, if the DM500 isnt listed then DHCP cant create a connection and setting an ip address within network settings on DM500 wont work.
If the network isnt seeing the DM500 then you wont be able to connect with DCC or open any ports in your router for the ip address of the DM500.

Look at your network settings on the DM500, DHCP is probably disabled. Enable it so the router can make a connection and create an ip address.

If you see below in CCcaminfo its perfectly normal and your peers will see it as your local.

The ecm on the infobar on the Vu+ will show 127.0.0.1:10000
The card needs an update on the 1st of each month although last year there were occasions where it needed updated just before a 3pm kickoff.

Are you using CCcam 2.1.3, version higher than this will will show the card as HOP10.

This script requires you to setup a cron on your dm500 to start the script. Look within your menus for cron manager, if you find it post screenshots of the menu and we can help you set it up step by step.

A stable and fairly rapid image with built all possible drivers: going, mmc, mmc2, mmccombo, newcamd-cardserver, CAMD-cardserver, multicam, at76c651_V13 ...
