This is a normal error if the pid for the channel is fake or outdated. You could try updating your oscam.srvid with this script and tutorial HERE. Let us know if this works for you buddy..

I made a solo backup but removed it as some had problems with it booting, I will will do another for the next blackhole release but meantime all cams can be downloaded here or by installing ts panel. Once you get it setup why not do a backup yourself and upload here.

I have never used mgcamd but can say from my own experience that newcamd & oscam together update entitlements perfectly.

I have seen this setting up ubuntu cccam server before try enabling the root account. Type the following logged in as root.

sudo passwd root

You will then be prompted for your password.

This allows you to log straight in as root without the sudo -i command.
If you want to disable it again the command is this.

sudo passwd -dl root

Are you getting no permission errors & which linux distro are you installing on.

Which programme are you using also are you logged in as root?

Sounds like image has become corrupted i would re flash it mate.

If you are going to use the auto install method then i recommend a fresh install, I have tested the latest auto install on ubuntu 10.4 server edition today and it went perfect. no errors from start yo finish.
